(GTC) is now accepting applications from those interested in the role of Bus and RV Diesel Technician / Mechanic for the Coburg, OR Freightliner & Western Star Northwest location. Responsibilities

  • Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
  • Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems.
  • Working knowledge of A/C repairs and able to read schematics for electrical and air systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with and/or complete engine overhauls as well as other repairs identified during the diagnostic process.
  • Develop technical skills through training opportunities
  • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.

Qualifications

Heavy equipment dealership experience definitely helps; three years or more preferred.  Bring your strong mechanical aptitude, team player mentality and belief in safety first to Team FNW.
